Why Tile?
Why not? Tile is durable and elegant. It enhances the feel of a room and will last forever. It resists wear like no other and can be customized easily to fit your needs.

What size tile should I buy? Is the size tile to big or small for the room?
ATM is able to provide design layout help.

Can tile go over concrete?
Tile, Porcelain and Natural Stone can go right over concrete although a waterproof anti-fracture membrane is highly recommended.

Can I put tile over plywood?
This is not recommended. Wonderboard, Durrock or a Mud Bed should always go over plywood. Wonderboard and Durrock both come in 1/2 or 1/4 inch. Mud Beds need to be 3/4 inch.

What if my floor is not level?
A Mud Bed made of sand & portland mix will guarantee a floor will be flat & level.

What are your thoughts on self leveling compounds?
Level Quick can be used over concrete to level off dips in slabs or be used on top of wonderboard and durrock when elevation is a concern.

My shower is leaking can you find the problem?
ATM is able to determine what, how and where the leak is coming from.

Do I need a sealer?
Yes, all grout should be sealed. All Natural Stone should be sealed or enhanced. All tile have microscopic pores and should be sealed. ATM will recommend proper sealers and enhancers.

How much does it cost?

The tile contractor we hired has done a terrible job. What can we do?
ATM is able to trouble shoot your job and advise you properly. The time to contact ATM is before and not after.

Where do I buy my tile?
ATM will provide you with a list of repurtable vendors. In most cases ATM will be able to directly purchase the tile for you once your selection is made and will conveniently bill you at the end of job.
